An interview with Palestinian author Adania Shibli is presented. Topics include her book, "A Minority" which begins with the rape and murder of a young Bedouin woman by Israeli soldiers in 1949; her protagonist in the book about a young Palestinian woman from Ramallah who travels illegally to the Israeli territories to find out more about the murdered Bedouin decades after the crime; and violence or experiences of pain.
