Creating "persistent links"

All digital library resources can be configured to share with students in D2L, in documents, or by email. These links are called "persistent links", "permanent links", or "permalinks". These links must be shared through authentication because they are through licensed subscription content.

All NLC users only need to login with their college email address and password to access online library resources. If you have a link in your D2L course that asks for an ID and PIN, that means the link is outdated.

Step-by-step instructions for creating shareable digital links can be found HERE.
